Challenge
Finance officers often struggle with fragmented legacy systems that obscure "big picture" cash flow. The goal was to design a secure, high-efficiency UI that bridges the gap between high-level oversight and granular daily tasks like payroll and vendor payments, significantly reducing cognitive load.
Results
By replacing fragmented workflows with an intuitive, task-oriented interface, the platform empowers finance officers to manage large-scale liquidity with significantly reduced cognitive load.
The optimized transaction review and bulk payment systems directly accelerated corporate workflows, leading to a 40% increase in operational speed for finance teams managing high-volume accounts.

Intelligent Liquidity Dashboard
Visual Cash Flow:
A high-level financial performance graph allows users to track cash flow and liquidity trends over time across multiple corporate accounts.
Portfolio Snapshot:
The "My Accounts" sidebar provides instant access to BDT balances and percentage growth/decline across various business units (e.g., Anwar Jute Spinning Mills, Rahim Steel Mills).
Streamlined Payment Hub
Dual-Pane Workflow:
The payment interface uses a segmented "Receiver Details" and "Payment Details" form on the left, while maintaining a persistent "Review & Confirm" card on the right. This ensures the user always sees the total payable amount and service charges before initiation.
Safety Guardrails:
Contextual alerts (e.g., for transactions exceeding ৳ 5,000,000) remind users of second-level authorization requirements, ensuring compliance without cluttering the UI.
High-Volume Transaction Review
Tabbed Auditing:
Dedicated tabs for Pending Transactions, Custom/VAT, and Pending Cheques allow for focused batch processing.
Actionable Data:
A clean table layout with explicit "Reference" and "Account" numbers ensures that auditors can verify 390+ pending transactions without visual fatigue.
Beneficiary & Payee Directory
Segmented Management:
Quick filters for Suppliers, Employees, and Favorites allow users to navigate large databases of payees easily.
Trust & Security:
An integrated "Security Check" module provides visual confirmation of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) verification, giving users peace of mind when transferring large sums.
Report Generation & Exporting
Dynamic Filtering:
Users can refine data by selecting specific report categories, timeframes, and branch locations for targeted financial analysis.
Versatile Export Options:
Provides support for printable PDFs, Excel spreadsheets for data modeling, and legacy CSV formats for backward compatibility.
Conclusion
The redesign of CityLIVE proves that when professional-grade functionality is paired with thoughtful UI/UX principles, the result is a powerful tool that enhances both productivity and user confidence in high-stakes financial environments.
